Purchase And Download The Arcade Script

Alright, let’s get the files we are going to use to create your arcade. Click on the image link below to be taken to the PHP Arcade Script Website.

You will be directed to a site that is shown in Figure 2-1.

After you are at the homepage, click on the “Purchase” button on the top menu. You will now be at the purchase page. There are two options you can choose to purchase. The first option is to purchase the arcade script license and game packs for $45. The second option is to purchase the arcade script license, game packs, and an installation service for $65. The second option includes an installation service which means that a representative from PHPArcadeScript will install the script on your server for you; however, since we are going to walk you through the steps we do not need the installation service. So go ahead and click on the ‘Click Here to Order Now’ Button for the first option ($45 value) as shown in Figure 2-2.

The next page will display an item order confirmation page which will ask you for the domain you are going to use with your arcade. Your domain will be the domain name you chose from Hour 1. After entering in your correct domain name click on the ‘Buy Now’ button as shown below in Figure 2-3.

Tip: ‘Make sure that you enter the correct domain name into the ‘Website for License’ textbox, because this will be the domain name you will use to login to the members section of this site. The license will be registered to the domain name that you enter in this textbox.‘

After clicking the ‘Buy Now’ button you will be taken to a PayPal account page. PayPal is an intermediary company that processes payments for other companies. If you already have a PayPal account you can login. If you do not have a PayPal account you can click on the ‘Continue’ link below the title ‘Don’t have a PayPal account’ as displayed in Figure 2-4.

If you already have an account that you want to use, I will assume you are familiar with the purchasing process. If not we can process this order without creating an account. So after you have clicked on the ‘Continue’ button you should be sent to a screen similar to Figure 2-5.

Enter your billing information in the required fields and click on the ‘Review Order and Continue’ Button. You will then be taken to a payment review page as shown in Figure 2-6.

Tip: ‘Be certain to double check your email address as this is very important to logging into the member area and downloading your arcade.‘

Finally you will complete the purchase by clicking the ‘Pay Now’ button. You will now be presented with a ‘Thank You for your payment purchase’ page as shown in Figure 2-7.

This page will display your receipt. Make sure to save your order information for your records.

Okay, we have completed the purchase of our Arcade Script. It’s now time to download the script. Click on the ‘Return to phparcadescript.com’ button and you will be taken to the PHP Arcade Script home page as previously shown in Figure 2-1. From the PHP Arcade Script home page click on the ‘Members’ button in the top menu and you will be taken to the members login page as shown in Figure 2-8.

In the textboxes shown above make sure to enter your email address that you entered when you filled out your billing information from Figure 2-5 and you also need to enter the domain that you entered when you clicked the ‘Buy Now’ button from Figure 2-3.

Make sure you enter the correct information and click the login button. You will be directed to the download page as shown in Figure 2-9.

The only download that we need to worry about would be the ‘Phparcadescript 1-license V4’. Make sure you have a solid internet connection because when you click the download button once, it will not be available again. Unfortunately, if something interrupts your download you will still be able to contact PHP Arcade Script support to get the download; however, this may take some time. So make sure you click the download button and save the file to an accessible location.

Tip: ‘Before entering a “Forum Username” in the textbox, visit the forums section of the PHPArcadeScript site. After you have registered a username in the forums, come back to the members’ page and enter in your username. This will grant you access to specific forum topics that are only available to arcade script owners. If you are not going to sign up for the forums just yet, you can leave this textbox empty.‘

You may want to create a backup of the script files and store them in a location you can access later down the road. Nothing is more irritating than losing your original files and then having to contact the script administrator, wait for them to confirm your information, and then possibly enable your download again (no promises). Just make certain to store your original download in an easily accessible safe location, so that you save yourself any future headaches.

Well, now that we have the script downloaded, we can dive a little bit into talking about the files.
