Arcade Dashboard

When you first login to your admin control panel the arcade dashboard is the first screen you will see as shown in Figure 4-2. The arcade dashboard includes the following statistics:

Total Games, Games Played Today, Overall Games Played, Total Links in Database, Total Hits in Today, Total Hits in Overall, Total Members, Newest Member Name, Unique visitors in the last 24 hours.

The Arcade Dashboard also contains a link to the support forum, a link to submit a support ticket, and a link to other resources. The arcade dashboard will display some of the latest PHP Arcade Script News to the top right of the page of the page.

In the middle of the Arcade Dashboard you will see columns named ‘user’, ‘ip’, ‘time online’, ‘games played’, etc. This box will list the visitors that are currently playing on your arcade. The user will be displayed as ‘Guest’ if they are not logged in. You can view the users IP Address, the amount of time they have been playing on your arcade, the amount of games they have played, the amount of page views (pvs), who they were referred by or where they came from, and the current page they are viewing. Right now this list is empty because we have not had any visitors to our arcade; however, when we start getting traffic to our site this box will display arcade visitor information.

Finally at the bottom part of the Arcade Dash board you can leave yourself a few notes or reminders in the ‘My Notes’ section.

The Arcade Dashboard is a good place to view your arcade statistics, leave notes for yourself, and track current arcade activity such as how many visitors/members are playing, where the users are coming from, how long they’ve been online, how many games they’ve played, and much other helpful information.
