Update Arcade Mochi Files

The arcade files you have downloaded back in hour 2 might have an outdated version of the files located in your ‘mochi’ folder. We are going to get the latest version as well as an updated version of our mochicategories file by downloading the following file:

After you have saved the above file to your computer go ahead and unzip the files.

The files located in the ‘updated_mochi_files’ zip file are listed below:

·         mochi folder

1.       grabgames.php file

2.       grabnightly.php file

·         mochicategories.php file

We are going to want to upload these files on our server. Go ahead and open up the Filezilla application and login and connect to your host computer as we have done back in Hour 3. Make sure you are in your ‘public_html’ or ‘www’ folder. Drag the mochi folder and the mochicategories.php file over to the host computer directory. You will see a popup asking you if you would like to overwrite the existing files. Click ‘OK’ to overwrite all the current files and update them with the latest files.

Okay now that we’ve gotten the minor stuff out of the way let’s get to generating our game categories and adding games already.
