In this portion we will discuss submitting your arcade website to a few search engines. We will also talk about an easy way to get free arcade visitors using a program called banner exchange.

The best way to get tons of visitors to your site is by ranking high in search engines; however, this is not an easy task. You can learn more about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) all over the web. SEO is the process of optimizing/marketing your site so that your arcade stands out in popular search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN… etc. In order to increase our chances of being visible in many popular search engines we may want to submit our site domain to the search engines.

Submitting Your Site to Search engines

To have your site submitted to several of the popular search engines you can visit Addme.com by clicking on the image link below:

When you visit Addme.com you will click on the ‘Submit Now’ button on their homepage which will take you to a form page. After you fill out the required information you can submit it. Your arcade will now be submitted to several of the popular search engines.

Arcade Banner Exchange Programs

There are many arcade banner exchanges available. A few of them are listed below:

An arcade banner exchange is a service where you place a small image banner somewhere on your arcade. Each time an arcade visitor clicks on that image banner your banner exchange account is awarded a credit. This credit will then be automatically added to a rotating queue where your arcade will be visited through another arcade owner’s banner image. The banner exchange system works very similar to a link exchange, except in this case it has a 1:1 ratio. This means for each click the image banner, on your arcade, receives you will get a visitor from another arcade banner image in return. To add these arcade banners to the top of your arcade you will need to sign up for a couple banner exchange programs like ‘Gamecetera’ or ‘FunKlicks’. After you have signed up for an arcade banner exchange program you will be given a code snippet to enter into your arcade. You will want to create a new Advertisement to place the code snippets into Ad Zone Number 2 of your arcade admin control panel. Adding an advertisement to your arcade was previously covered in the previous hour.  

Finally, to sum things up, get all the free advertising as possible, because after all it’s free. Now, let’s move on to talking a little about paid advertising.
